  2. A periscope allows you to look at something from around a corner.
  3. Or from a higher vantage point than normal.
  4. Submarines and other high-tech vehicles usually a use more complex system of prism and lenses.

What you need to make a cardboard periscope

  1. You will need:
  2. 2 flat mirrors about the same size
  3. Two milk carton
  4. Two 90 degree triangle
  5. PVA glue

How to make a cardboard periscope

  1. Get the milk carton and cut at the top off and glue the two cartons together.
  2. Make a hole on each opposite side of the carton.
  3. Get the 90 degree triangle and glue it inside the carton and then stick the mirror on top of the triangle on both sides.
  4. Now you are finished your periscope, look at it and have fun.
